How to Switch to a New Brand of Dog Food
Abruptly changing your dog's food can cause gastrointestinal issues such as vomiting, diarrhea, and a decreased appetite. Therefore, it is essential to transition your dog's food gradually, allowing their system to adjust to the new diet. This process should take place over a period of 5-7 days, and during this time, you should slowly increase the amount of the new food while decreasing the old food. For most dogs, the transition should follow the following schedule:

25% new food and 75% old food.
Day 3:
50% new food and 50% old food.
